  • This Month’s Recommended Reading: The Power and Authority of the Church by Abraham John
Review: This powerful book will probably change what you thought about all that God intended for His Church in the earth, for your church in your city, and for how you work with God to fulfill His purposes through you. The goal of the book is Equipping the Saints to Administer God’s Kingdom on Earth. The author says, “Jesus said, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’ (Mark 11:17). Today in our churches, we have made what is most important the least important, and the least important things have become the most prominent part of our program.  If we spent twenty minutes singing, and took just five minutes of that to pray as a congregation, what would God do through that church? Even when we pray, we spend most of the time asking God for things He has already given us.  So, we pray amiss.” By the time I finished reading the Introduction, I had already been greatly stirred!  Lots of underlining, lots of wisdom in this excellent book.  ISBN #978-0-9972591-1-7
